With the perspective that education serves as the foundation for building green and sustainable actions, the UEH Green Campus Project and the For a Green Future Foundation - Vingroup have collaborated to implement the Let’s Green Unitour program, accompanying higher education institutions in Ho Chi Minh City in their transition towards the Green University Model. In 2025, the program was successfully implemented, attracting more than 1,615 students to participate in the Let’s Green Unitour Day, while also connecting and sharing implementation experiences with higher education institutions, aiming toward the establishment of the Vietnam Green University Network.

Launching Let’s Green Unitour 2025 at the Forum “Ho Chi Minh City Students with Green Practices and Sustainable Actions”

On the afternoon of October 31, 2025, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in collaboration with the UEH Youth Union - UEH Student Association and the UEH Green Campus Project, organized the forum “Ho Chi Minh City Students with Green Practices and Sustainable Actions.” The event was honored to welcome representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Vietnam National Union of Students - Ho Chi Minh City Chapter, the For a Green Future Foundation - Vingroup, and representatives of Youth Unions and Student Associations from partner institutions, along with the participation of more than 8.000 students from 10 universities and colleges across the city. This forum created a meaningful academic space to share green practice models and initiatives, while inspiring sustainable actions within the new generation of students.

Notably, within the framework of the program, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony between UEH and 10 partner institutions was held, officially launching Let’s Green Unitour 2025 and marking the beginning of the journey to spread the UEH Green University Model to the community. Through this collaboration, UEH will implement a series of Let’s Green Unitour Day - Experience a Day as a Green University Student at partner campuses, while transferring experiences and providing products to support higher education institutions in gradually transitioning toward the Green University Model. Together with the commitments from the For a Green Future Foundation, this journey is expected to become a bridge for knowledge sharing, action connection, and the formation of a network of universities and colleges with a shared goal of sustainable development.
