1. What is the UEH Green Researcher Community?
The “UEH Green Researcher Community” is a significant initiative designed as an open community, including individuals, research groups, and organizations interested in building a green university campus. It aims to promote green solutions to address environmental challenges in society and towards sustainable development.
The core element of the UEH Green Research Community is the integration of activities about research, education, and innovation. Through positive collaboration and sharing among students, researchers, lecturers, businesses, and the local community, this community aims to solve practical issues in the field of environment, sustainability and other related ones, from daily life to a global scale.
2. Benefits of participating in the community include:
- Mentorship and support: Receiving consultant and supporting in the process of developing ideas, completing and publishing research topics from the Project, the UEH Sustainability Initiative Committee, and specialized Faculties/Institutes.
- Sharing research outcomings: Sharing and disseminating research outcomes across multiple platforms through UEH’s academic brand communication program.
- Publishing research works: High-quality and outstanding research works will be selected for publication in the "PSSID Student Scientific Research Yearbook" or introduced to participate in competitions and scientific conferences in relevant fields.
- Opportunities for participation in events and publications: Participating in conferences and seminars or publish articles in prestigious national and international scientific journals, thereby enhancing understanding and vision in green research fields.
- Networking: Joining an extensive network of researchers, experts, and partners in the field of green research, creating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Accessing information and data sources: Accessing the latest information and data in green research fields, improving the quality and efficiency of research projects.
3. Special privileges and rewards when participating in the "UEH Green Research Community"
Training support: Members joining the green research community will attend a special scientific research methodology course specifically designed for the Living Lab and Green Campus topics organized by the UEH Youth Union.
Rewards:
- Certificate: For products that meet the standards set by the Professional Board, the author group will receive a Certificate from the UEH Sustainability Initiative Committee.
- Cash rewards: Prize money ranging from 700,000-1,000,000 VND for a meet-the-standards topic (excluding other rewards at UEH).
- Participation in the "UEH Green Research Community" Forum: Annually, the UEH Youth Union and the Sustainable University Project Committee coordinate to organize forums, meetings, and in-depth exchanges. These events focus on the contents, methods, and topics of interest in the field of green research throughout the year. This is a chance for community members to participate in in-depth discussions on academic issues related to green research.
4. Ways to participate in the "UEH Green Research Community"
- Taking part in academic competitions, scientific research activities, and academic-oriented programs such as Young Researchers, UEH 500, Economic Event Comment Chain, and similar programs at the faculty/institute/interdisciplinary level and clubs/teams/groups.
- Registering research topics directly with the UEH Study - Scientific Research - International Relations Board through the email ht-nckh@ueh.edu.vn.
- Joining research groups, carrying out scientific topics, and publishing scientific research papers under the guidance of lecturers through the email ht-nckh@ueh.edu.vn.
- Participating in community projects building green models and solutions with the support and protection of UEH by contacting the Sustainable University Project Committee at ums@ueh.edu.vn.
