WHAT IS "UEH GREEN CAMPUS"?

Green Campus is not simply implementing environmentally friendly activities, rather, it aims to integrate sustainable principles into all aspects of everyday life at the university

REFUSE

Be aware of your own needs, and refuse unnecessary items

RECYCLE

Waste, prior to being sent to landfills, can be recycled into useful materials if properly classified

REDUCE

Be aware of your own needs, carefully consider buying new or consuming disposable products

REUSE

Some waste can be turned into useful materials by creatively reusing them for other purposes (without affecting health or the environment)

WASTE SORTING AT SOURCE

UEHers follow the principles of waste sorting at each campus, creating a quality input for recycling activities

ENSURING THAT TRASH IS TO BE RECYCLED

After properly csorting waste, it will be connected directly to recycling partners

ARE YOU AWARE?

If each UEH student switches to using cloth bags every day, 90 tons of plastic bags will not be discharged into the environment each year.

SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR UEH

A clean environment is a factor that plays an important role in the development of UEH. With the goal of reducing waste, UEH launched the Zero Waste program. Through this program, UEH hopes to raise the environmental protection awareness of each individual studying and working at UEH, thereby actively contributing to sustainable social and economic development.

UEH GREEN CAMPUS PROJECT

UEH Green Campus is implemented by University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in collaboration with the Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance (VZWA) and environmental and circular economy partners. The project won the Champion of the international competition ""Zero-waste City Challenge"" organized by World Waste Aid.
