The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with Botol Vietnam Co., Ltd., has introduced the Automated recyclable collection machine - “i Ve Chai Machine” (Ai ve chai hong?) across UEH campuses. This initiative encourages students, faculty, and staff to classify and recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans after use.
By investing in technology, UEH hopes this machine will mark a significant step toward green and sustainable university while achieving the goal of recycling 100% of plastic bottles and aluminum cans on campus.
Botol Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the first and only member of the Packaging Recycling Organization Vietnam (PRO Vietnam) focusing on solutions to the pressing issue facing the informal collection industry, which has yet to fully address the recycling of PET bottles.
Botol’s recycling machine technology is designed and patented in Singapore, offering superior efficiency in collecting and recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans. These machines have already been installed in multiple locations across Vietnam, including UEH campuses.
