[Let’s Green Unitour Day 2025] Opening Pathways to a Green Future with Students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University Exploring the Green University Model

On the morning of January 14, 2026, Let’s Green Unitour Day was successfully held at Ho Chi Minh City Open University with the participation of more than 185 students. The event provided a healthy and engaging platform, enabling students to better understand the role of higher education in sustainable development, while enhancing their awareness and sense of responsibility toward practicing a green lifestyle in the educational environment through activities of visiting and experiencing the UEH Green Campus Ecosystem.

As part of the Let’s Green Unitour Project, with the companionship of the For Green Future Foundation under Vingroup, Let’s Green Unitour Day 2025 - Experience a Day as a Green University Student took place vibrantly at Ho Chi Minh City Open University. The event created a dynamic experiential space, allowing students to comprehensively explore the UEH Green University Model and learn about initiatives promoting green transformation in higher education. From the exhibition area, games and waste classification practices, to the art space and green booths from the co-organizing units, the program contributed to spreading the spirit of green living and inspiring the community to take action for a sustainable future.

Opening ceremony of Let’s Green Unitour Day within the framework of the 2026 Environmental Festival at Ho Chi Minh City Open University

At its ninth stop, Let’s Green Unitour Day 2025 brought to Ho Chi Minh City Open University a space filled with green spirit along with gifts encouraging a green lifestyle across four areas:

• Zone 1 - Exhibition of the UEH Green Campus Model: An exhibition space introducing the UEH Green University Model and the ecosystem of UEH Green Campus products, bringing students closer to green living in the educational environment and helping them better understand the sustainable development orientation that UEH is pursuing.
• Zone 2 - UEH Green Campus Game Experience & Green Practices: A space where students were guided to directly experience and practice waste classification according to the UEH Green Campus Model 3 - Go Green Station. In addition, students had the opportunity to experience the innovative “gamification” solution through UEH Green Campus - Game, enabling them to approach concepts of green living and environmental protection in a more friendly and vivid way.
• Zone 3 - Environmental Art Exhibition: Featuring unique art works, this space allowed students to visit, take photos, and preserve memorable moments with Let’s Green Unitour Day. It was also an opportunity for students to record their reflections on becoming Green University students - a new-generation student action model.
• Zone 4 - Green Booth from Ho Chi Minh City Open University: Implemented within the framework of the 2026 Environmental Festival, the series of minigame booths by Ho Chi Minh City Open University brought engaging interactive moments, helping students better understand environmental realities and green knowledge through stations such as “Green Water Lottery”, “The Missing Green”, “Decoding Light”, and “Spreading Green Messages”.

Let’s Green Unitour Day 2025 at Ho Chi Minh City Open University concluded with many memorable moments, strongly spreading the spirit of action and environmental awareness within the student community. The experiences gained from the event will continue to serve as a powerful driving force, encouraging the younger generation to take action for the environment and sustainable development. The journey of Let’s Green Unitour Day will continue throughout 2026, with each destination becoming a meaningful connection that plants the seeds of sustainable thinking and nurtures each student to become a future “green ambassador.”

Let’s Green Unitour is a product of the UEH Green Campus Project and part of the Green Semester - Building a Green Community Campaign initiated by the For Green Future Foundation (Vingroup). Implemented by the Sustainable University Steering Committee, UEH Green Campus Project, and the UEH Youth Union & Student Association, Let’s Green Unitour aims to create experiential spaces for the UEH Green University ecosystem, enhance students’ environmental awareness, spread the UEH Green University Model to the community, and build the Vietnam Green University Network.
