Held on 15-16 July 2026 as part of the International Conference on Resilience by Technology and Design (RTD 2026), the UEH Green Campus booth became one of the event’s highlights, attracting nearly 300 participants. Through a variety of interactive activities and sustainability-focused experiences, the UEH Green Campus Project continued to promote UEH’s Green University Model, raising awareness and inspiring the community to embrace sustainableactions.
The booth attracted the attention of academics, industry representatives, and students by presenting an overview of the UEH Green Campus Project and UEH’s journey toward implementing its Multidisciplinary and Sustainability Strategy. It also served as a platform for exchanging experiences, sharing practical sustainability initiatives, and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders, further promoting sustainable values within the academic community.
In addition, the Green Quiz Challenge provided an engaging learning experience through interactive quizzes on sustainability and UEH Green Campus-related knowledge, while offering participants the opportunity to receive meaningful gifts from UEH. Beyond creating an energetic atmosphere, the activity introduced an innovative approach to sustainability education, encouraging participants to actively explore, retain, and spread sustainability knowledge and values.

A key highlight of the booth was the exhibition of upcycled products from Limloop and EchoBag, two strategic partners of the UEH Green Campus Project. By transforming discarded fishing nets, advertising banners, fabric scraps, and other post-consumer materials into practical everyday products, these initiatives demonstrated how circular design can extend material life cycles, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impacts. Beyond their environmental contributions, Limloop and EchoBag also create sustainable livelihoods for local communities, fishers, and vulnerable groups through collection, upcycling, and production activities, while promoting responsible consumption and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable society.

More than an exhibition and interactive experience, the UEH Green Campus booth served as a bridge connecting the community with sustainability through creative, educational, and engaging activities. Its presence at RTD 2026 further reaffirmed UEH’s commitment to advancing education for sustainable development, inspiring individuals to take practical actions and work together toward a greener future.
