On January 11, 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics - Mekong Campus (UEH Mekong) officially launched the Campus Tour 2026 program under the theme “Discover Your Potential with UEH Mekong.” This activity is part of the UEH Mekong 2026 sustainable admissions and career guidance series. Within this framework, UEH Mekong integrated the experiential space of the UEH Green University Model, contributing to the dissemination of environmental awareness, green thinking, and sustainable actions among high school students in the Mekong Delta region.

Students checking in at the program
The program attracted more than 500 Grade 12 students and teachers from Tam Binh High School, Hoang Thai Hieu High School (Vinh Long Province), and Lap Vo 3 High School (Dong Thap Province). Students visited and experienced the learning and living environment at UEH Mekong while participating in admissions counseling and career orientation activities associated with sustainable development.
The Green University Experience Journey at UEH Mekong
Within the framework of the UEH Mekong Campus Tour 2026, the UEH Green University experiential space was organized as a key highlight of the program. The activity aimed to introduce, facilitate hands-on experiences, and inspire students with the Green University Model - UEH Green Campus, thereby enhancing awareness and shaping green thinking and sustainable living habits from the early stage of exploring the university environment.
The program was designed with two main areas combining information, interaction, and practice:
- Zone 1 - Green University Model Exhibition: This exhibition space displayed visual infographics, providing students with an overview of the ecosystem of Green University initiatives and products under UEH Green Campus, ranging from resource management and emission reduction to education for sustainable development. Through this, UEH Mekong gradually conveyed UEH’s strategic orientation toward sustainable development, integrating education, research, and operations with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Zone 2 - UEH Green Campus Experience - Game and Green Practices: In the experiential area, students were guided to directly practice waste sorting according to the UEH Green Campus Project’s Model 3 - Go Green Station. In addition, the program applied the innovative “gamification” solution, enabling students to approach concepts of green living, environmental protection, and sustainable development through interactive, easy-to-understand, and engaging games.
