The "Zeeniverse by U" competition has officially closed its search for planet-builders in the Green University Universe. Outshining a field of outstanding entries with an impressive score of 305 points, the video "The Green Squad" by authors Dang Van Bao, Thai Bao Tran, Dao Phuong Anh, Tran Khanh Vy, and Nguyen Xuan Duyen proudly claimed the Grand Champion title. The work is not only a creative film about environmental protection, but also a heartfelt letter and a sincere tribute to UEH on the occasion of its half-century milestone.
Pieces of a Puzzle Representing a Generation of UEHers in Action
"The Green Squad" is not a team of superheroes wielding far-fetched, fictional powers. They are the embodiment of UEH students who show up and put in the work every day. In the video, each member brings their own distinct quality: Tran's sharp instincts, Bao's cool-headed analytical thinking, Phuong Anh's empathy, Vy's sense of style, and Duyen's keen organizational mindset. Together, they form the perfect pieces of a generation that is dynamic, grounded, and always ready to step up.
Living Green from the Heart: Smart Consumption over Damage Control
The story begins when the mascot, Zeen, and a group of students attempt to fix an environmental system failure on campus. At first, rigid waste-sorting procedures fail to deliver the expected results. The breakthrough comes only when they realize that the environment cannot be saved at the final stage if consumption habits at the source still depend on single-use plastics. Through concrete actions such as passing along a cloth bag, using a personal water bottle, or bringing a home-cooked meal in a reusable container, "The Green Squad" demonstrates that living green must truly come from the heart, and that smart consumption is the real key to sustainability.
Value Beyond Every Algorithm
The team conveys a profoundly meaningful message: no matter how advanced UEH's infrastructure or technology becomes, "human warmth" can never be replicated. The empathy, compassion, and sense of community among students are the defining forces behind a truly sustainable green campus. Technology can teach us processes, but it is people who define what sustainability really means.
The image of Zeen's warm golden light blending into the university's logo at the end of the film is the proud tribute that "The Green Squad" offers to UEH at fifty. Over half a century, UEH has not only trained outstanding professionals but also shaped citizens with a deep sense of responsibility toward the Earth.
