Within the framework of the "Zeeniverse by U" design competition, the entry "New Zeen New UEH" by authors Duong Thanh Ngan, Nguyen Thanh Trung, Doan Trinh Y Nhi, and Trinh Vu Thuy Hang officially won over the judging panel with the highest score (317 points), claiming the Champion title in the Anniversary Mascot Design category for UEH's 50th anniversary. More than a visually striking design, the work is a powerful declaration from a generation of UEHers ready to take action.

From a Little Radish to the "Zeen Legacy - Zeeniverse" Ecosystem
Born in 2021 from the UEH Green Campus Project, Zeen began as a small green radish, named after "Zero" and "Green," embodying the aspiration for a lifestyle of reduced waste, a smaller carbon footprint, and harmony with nature. Looking ahead to the university's 50th anniversary milestone and its Sustainable University 2030 vision, the team brought a bold Big Idea to life: elevating Zeen from a standalone mascot into an entire creative ecosystem named Zeen Legacy - Zeeniverse.
Three New Forms: A Young Generation's Response to the Challenges of Our Time
Anchored by the core message "New Zeen New UEH" Zeen does not stand still but continuously reinvents itself, taking on three distinct forms to meet the challenges of the era:
- Zeen Recycle: Carrying the spirit of regeneration and circular economy thinking. Beyond managing waste, Zeen Recycle embodies compassion for fragile creatures such as sea turtles, affirming that everything deserves ”a second life”;
- Zeen Hero: An action-driven warrior wearing a red cape and bearing the proud number 50 on their chest. This form embodies the spirit "Take Action, Don't Just Talk," inspiring UEHers to turn awareness into real action for the community;
- Zeen Robot: A representative of human-centered Technology 5.0, where technology serves human well-being and optimizes green living, carrying the message "Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow."

A Green Legacy Built from Small Actions
The Zeen Legacy edition is the union of all three forms, a symbol connecting past, present, and future. Through a dynamic Comic/Pop-art visual language combined with minimalist Modern Flat Design, and anchored by a signature tree-canopy "hairstyle" representing the "Go Green UEH" commitment, the work successfully portrays a UEH that is multidisciplinary and innovative yet firmly rooted in sustainable values.

UEH's 50-year journey is measured by choices made for the future. In Zeen Legacy, every UEHer can see a reflection of themselves: young, creative, and full of purpose. Living green is not a distant slogan; it is a conscious choice that begins with each individual. As the "New Zeen New UEH" project powerfully reminds us: "For a Green UEH, for a sustainable future, every journey begins with you. This is your game, and this planet belongs to all of us."
