The journey of Volunteer Saturday, Green Sunday: “Be My Weekend” has officially ended after a month of launching and organizing. The activity was organized by the Student Association of the School of Tourism, UEH University, Ho Chi Minh City. The enthusiasm and dynamism of the volunteers along with the spirit of solidarity of the Association, and the Be My Weekend series will be a solid stone for students to be confident and together convey meaningful messages about volunteering and the environment to everyone around.

After more than a week of launching and organizing, the series of Volunteer Saturday - Green Sunday: "Be My Weekend" has successfully concluded. The series was organized by the Student Association of the School of Tourism, UEH University, Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with Trung An Commune Union, Cu Chi District, with the desire to create a healthy playground, stimulating dynamism for students after a period of online time. The series focused on the topics of volunteering and the environment. Through the activities, students were able to draw their own stories, connect with each other and spread love, increasing the value of a weekend while raising students' awareness of the environment and related issues together with conveying meaningful messages to those around them. The activities have attracted a lot of students.

Contributing to the success of the program is the enthusiasm and dynamism of the students with two activities: 1 - Olivacious and 2 - Verdancy.

Coming to the first activity with the theme OLIVACIOUS in the series of Volunteer Saturday - Green Sunday "Be My Weekend", with the participation of nearly 80 students from the association of the School of Tourism, they successfully organized volunteer sessions and environmental activities at many locations in Ho Chi Minh City. Through that, students had the opportunity to connect with each other and spread love to those in difficult circumstances in life, contributing part of their responsibility to environmental protection.

Moreover, the series also helps students leave unforgettable memories in their student lives and together convey meaningful messages to those around them. We highly appreciate your precious hearts and spirit of participation. We hope that this spirit will always be kept in your hearts so that together we can carry out more meaningful programs for life. Let's spread the heart of love to everyone.

Following the first activity OLIVACIOUS, the second activity was VERDANCY, which was also the last activity. We had a trip to the Lu River and the Go Mon Memorial to clean up and clear the local waterways. This was an opportunity to make the weekend dynamic and full of spreading values, as well as to contribute part of the youth's strength to clean up and prepare to welcome the upcoming April 30th. Activity 2 was successful with dynamic and enthusiastic responses from students of the School of Tourism as well as the young people in the Trung An commune, Cu Chi District.

Once again, Be My Weekend would like to thank the volunteers who took their time to care and actively responded to the program. Hopefully, after this series, the students have had meaningful volunteer experiences. See you again in the next programs!
