UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION 2023: Instructions on Proof of Priority Applicants and Regions in Full-time Undergraduate Admission 2023

 

Implementing the preferential admission policy for students from the group of 20% of households with the lowest income in the country, UEH sets no annual quota according to Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDDT dated June 6, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training on Promulgating the Regulations on undergraduate, college and preschool admission.

Subject 1: Vietnamese citizens of ethnic minorities having permanent residence during high school or college for over 18 months in Region 1.

Subject 02: Workers involved in manufacture for 5 consecutive years or more, of which at least 2 years have been emulation fighters recognized by provincial level or higher and awarded certificates of merit.

– Decision to grant a Certificate of family of war invalids and pension allowance from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (if any).

b) Children of war invalids, sick soldiers, and those entitled to policies for war invalids with a reduced working capacity of 81% or more;

– Applicant’s birth certificate,

– Certificate of war invalids issued by a competent authority as prescribed; or Certificate of entitlement to policies for war invalids with a labor capacity loss rate of 81% or higher issued by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

c) Children of soldiers infected with toxic chemicals whose working capacity is reduced by 81% or more;

– Applicant’s birth certificate,

– Certificate of soldiers infected with toxic chemicals issued by a competent authority as prescribed or Certificate of soldiers infected with toxic chemicals issued by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs

c) Children of soldiers infected with toxic chemicals with a labor capacity reduction rate of less than 81%.

– Applicants with permanent residence (during high school or intermediate school) for more than 18 months in communes in Region III and communes with extremely difficult villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas as prescribed by the Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee and the Prime Minister; in extremely difficult communes in coastal and island areas; extremely difficult communes, border communes, and safe zone communes in the investment area of ​​Program 135 (according to Decision No. 135/QD-TTg dated July 31, 1998 of the Prime Minister); extremely difficult villages and communes in regions as prescribed by the Prime Minister as they study at high schools (or intermediate schools) at a district, town, or provincial city with at least one of the communes in an extremely difficult area.

+ If stationed for 18 months or more in a region, priority will be given based on that region or their permanent residence before enlistment, depending on which region has higher priority;


+ If stationed for 18 months or more in regions with different priority levels, priority will be given to those with the longer stationing period;


+ If under 18 months, benefited from their permanent residence before enlistment.

– Certificate issued by their affiliation regarding the time and place of stationing.
