None of us wishes for another Super Typhoon Yagi to appear…

WHY WAS YAGI STORM SO STRONG?

The ocean has absorbed about 90% of the excess heat retained by greenhouse gas emissions, intensifying the storm's strength and generating more powerful winds.

The recent super typhoon Yagi has caused significant damage to both life and property, particularly with the subsequent impacts of flash floods and landslides. Are you aware that the unusual warming of the ocean waters in the East Vietnam Sea is one of the reasons why Typhoon Yagi intensified at an unprecedented rate? Over 90% of the heat from global warming has been absorbed by the oceans, making storms more powerful and terrifying.

Factors Contributing to Carbon Emissions in Vietnam

Climate change is caused by emissions from factories, deforestation, and the use of unsustainable energy which has increased the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, causing the Earth to become increasingly warmer. Although nature undergoes its own changes, it is the human impact that is the main reason for the climate's more severe alterations.
