From September 6, 2024, to the end of September 18, 2024, as part of the 2024 Citizen Engagement Season, the UEH Green Campus Game attracted over 16,000 game experiences with the participation of 9,270 UEH students. Among them, more than 600 students achieved perfect scores with five rounds of play, including Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and I - UEH Green Citizen, which provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the environment, ways to protect the surrounding environment, and principles of living green at UEH Green University.

The "Green Innovation Initiative - UEH Green Campus Game" is a platform that utilizes game simulation technology (gamification) to change awareness and to promote green living behaviors under the motto "Play.Learn.Transform," as part of the UEH Green Campus project. With five rounds of play, including Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and I - A Green UEHer Citizen, the game provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the environment, ways to protect the surroundings, and the principles of green living at UEH Green University. Additionally, the UEH Green Campus Game integrates the regulations of the Green University, guiding participants to practice green living right within the UEH campus.

With over 16,000 participants, the UEH Green Campus Game has demonstrated its appeal to students. Concurrently, it has created a green knowledge space that allows UEH students to learn while playing, supplementing essential knowledge to become true green citizens through a novel and flexible method. Through this, students gain a clearer understanding of the current state of the environment and how their actions can impact it.

After the competition, the organizing committee recorded the following results:

The question that most of you got wrong: Why can't we make compost from plastic? The answer is because plastic is not biodegradable.

The question that you all know very well: To help students commute conveniently between campuses and reduce carbon footprint from transportation, what has the school equipped? The answer is : UEH Shuttle Bus.

In addition, we have received a lot of positive feedback regarding the UEH Green Campus Game through the feedback channel: "Since I didn't know waste classification criteria much, the questions on this topic helped me gain new knowledge," "The game helped me understand how to protect the environment correctly and reasonably," "The game helped me learn green actions more that I can take right away." Your feedback will be the motivation and will help the game improve further in the future.

Some have achieved high results that the organizing committee has recognized:

With the first launch of the UEH Green Campus Game as part of the 2024 Citizen Activities, the game has garnered significant interest from UEH students, demonstrating the success of UEH Green Campus in bringing environmental knowledge to students. However, there were some shortcomings in the operation of the game that students have provided feedback as follows:

- The login time to the game is too long

- Points are not recorded accurately

- The leaderboard is not updated thoroughly

In the future, the UEH Green Campus Game will address the feedback from students and upgrade the question system to provide a more complete game version, ensuring you have a wonderful gaming experience ahead.
