“The Story of Rubbish” Creative Contest, part of the “UEH Zero Waste Campus” project, will officially commence from November 26th, 2021, until December 7th, 2021. The contest is open to all students of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), providing an opportunity for UEH students to unleash their creativity in producing content related to “rubbish storytelling”, environmental issues, green lifestyles, and more through impactful media products. Through this, participants aim to spread positive messages and meaningful insights to everyone."
“The Story of Rubbish” Creative Contest, part of the “UEH Zero Waste Campus” project, provides an opportunity for students to unleash their creativity in crafting content about the 'story of rubbish,' environmental issues, green lifestyles, and more. Participants are encouraged to create media products expressing their personal perspectives on waste issues surrounding our living environment, aiming to spread positive and impactful messages to everyone.
The contest runs from November 26th, 2021, to December 7th, 2021, and is open to all students of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Participants have the freedom to creatively design the content and form of their submissions; there are no limitations on the submission format according to the contest organizers.
- 1. How to participate:
- Step 1: Like & follow the Youth UEH Community Fanpage.
- Step 2: Like & share the post publicly with the hashtags #UEHbenvung#UEHZeroWasteCampus#TheStoryofRubbish#RethinkBeGreen, and tag 3 friends in the comment section.
- Step 3: Create a video content about the 'fate of rubbish,' environmental issues, conveying positive messages to protect a clean, green, and beautiful living environment. Post this video publicly on both your personal Facebook and TikTok accounts with the contest hashtags: #UEHbenvung #UEHZeroWasteCampus #TheStoryofRubbish #RethinkBeGreen.
- Step 4: Take screenshots of the aforementioned steps to fill in the confirmation form provided by the organizing committee: https://formghinhanketqua.
Notes:
The submitted entry must be the intellectual property of the author, free of copyright disputes or intellectual property infringements. Entries not owned or used by the author will not be accepted.
Entries must reflect truthful content and not have won awards in similar competitions previously.
Video content can be based on some provided sample videos, but students are not limited in their creative forms.
The video length should be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 2 minutes. The video must be self-recorded by the author without copying from other sources. It should be commented on directly in the author's voice and have a minimum video resolution of 720p.
Any signs of cheating during participation will result in disqualification from the competition.
- 2. Scoring method:
30% of the score from the Jury (based on content, structure, format of the video, and the conveyed meaningful message).
70% of the score from student voting on social media will be calculated as follows:
- 50% score from interactions on Facebook: every reaction gets 2 points, each publicly shared post with the program hashtag earns 4 points.
- 20% score from interactions on TikTok: every like earns 2 points.
Upon completion of all these steps, your Student ID will be updated, giving you the chance to receive attractive prizes from the program.
- 3. Prizes:
Individual Awards:
First Prize: 500,000 VND + certificate;
Second Prize: 300,000 VND + certificate;
Third Prize: 200,000 VND + certificate;
3 Encouragement Prizes (3 entries with the highest interactions): 200,000 VND
Group Awards:
The unit with the highest number of entries: 500,000 VND;
The unit with the second-highest number of entries: 300,000 VND;
The unit with the third-highest number of entries: 200,000 VND;
The unit with the highest interaction count: 200,000 VND.
