Campaign: “Towards No Single-Use Plastic Future”
As part of the UEH Green Campus project, this campaign marks the beginning of UEH’s journey towards eliminating single-use plastics at the Võ Thị Sáu campus. It aims to encourage the UEH community at Campus V to take collective action for a greener and more sustainable campus.
OBJECTIVES
90% of all waste is properly sorted. Reduce single-use plastic waste by 60%. Foster a green and sustainable lifestyle culture. Integrate net-zero initiatives and scientific research.
Campaign Symbol
The dove and the chameleon: species that migrate, live, and regard the Võ Thị Sáu campus as their home.

LAUNCHING EVENT OF THE CAMPAIGN
“Towards No Single-use Plastic Future”
Held on October 19, 2024, at the Võ Thị Sáu campus, the event brought together more than 15 lecturers and staff members from ISCM, UII, the UEH Sustainable University Project Board, and the Incubator, along with over 60 students from various cohorts.

No Single-Use Plastic Day is a tradition within the campaign “Towards No Single-Use Plastic Future”, held on the last Wednesday of month to raise awareness and encourage the reduction of single-use plastics. It is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and the community to come together and take action towards a more sustainable future
